After its entrance into mainstream culture, bboying (aka-breakdancing) ceased to be seen as a true dance form and slowly
faded away.
The bboying scene went back underground and slowly, it gradually grew into the largest group of people who shared one
thing in common...the love for the dance.
And now, bboys and bgirls no longer stand alone. We have managed to build up a tight knit family of breakers not
only in the U.S. but internationlly in places such as France, Germany, Korea, Japan, and many more. In helping to progress
the hip-hop culture, crews have sprung up all over the world, ready to represent the true essence and art of bboying.
The mission of this club, is to join the already large community of dancers, and to make sure that bboying
never fades away again and that it should be as important as other dances such as ballet, tap dancing, gymnastics...etc.
Our goal is to infuse the hip-hop culture into our small town of Tracy and to make sure that Tracy High has another club
besides the Yo Yo club. =P
What makes this club special is that we are defined by diversity, creativity, and fellowship. We are
more than just "another" club, we are a family of friends.
